The human person is always expanding. We’re always growing, always learning.
Just by living and breathing, we are getting older, and presumably wiser. But, we can take that idea a step further in regards to our faith.
Because we are always expanding, that means that we will always have increasingly more to give to God.
If our hearts are always expanding, then we can always give God more and more of our love. If our minds are always expanding, then we can always soar to new heights in contemplating Him. If our strength is always expanding, then we can always serve God more and more courageously.
“You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment.” Matthew 22: 37-38
