Call to Holiness

Following Christ is a lifelong journey, and because it is lifelong, that means our faith lives will go through many changes. 

We might move houses or towns. Our families may grow. Our friends can change. We might switch parishes. Maybe our favorite priest gets transferred. We, ourselves, change. 

That makes us — not just our faith lives — different too. 

With the new circumstances and challenges that arise, one thing has not and will never change: our call to holiness. 

Holiness can be defined as conforming to the will of God. It’s pretty simple when you think of it like that. Change isn’t always easy, but that doesn’t mean it has to be bad, either. Use the phases of change in your life to grow closer to Christ and conform to God’s will.
