Few For Many
In God’s divine wisdom, there’s a tactic He seems to favor: using the few to reach the many.
He did it with His chosen people—Israel. A small, often struggling nation became the vessel through which God would bless the entire world.
He did it again with the apostles. From a handful of ordinary men—fishermen, tax collectors, a zealot—He launched a mission that would reach across continents and centuries.
God’s method is clear: focus on a few, go deep, and let that depth drive wide-reaching impact.
It makes me think about our own lives. How often do we try to do everything? We stretch ourselves thin—juggling countless relationships, commitments, and responsibilities. And in the process, we lose depth. We lose focus.
But what if we followed God’s pattern?
What if, instead of trying to reach everyone or do everything, we intentionally focused on the few God has placed closest to us? Our family. A small group of friends. One or two people we’re called to mentor or serve.
Maybe the key to meaningful impact isn’t doing more—but going deeper with a few.
That’s how the kingdom grows—quietly, steadily, like leaven in the dough.
Something to think about.
