Guiding Light

Every day we face decisions, most of the time small, but sometimes big. Our countless choices require deliberation and discernment. 

We weigh the pros and cons, the benefits and risks. Maybe we talk to someone, or flip a coin, or ask Siri. But, ultimately a decision must be made. 

Day to day, the specifics and circumstances may change. The who, the what, the how, the where. But, what cannot change is our why, our guiding principle, our end goal. 

What is that guiding light, that compass by which we walk?

Sainthood.

This is the context in which all decisions are made. We must constantly remind ourselves of this goal. Are we moving closer to or further from sainthood and God? 

At the end of the day, at the end of our lives...sainthood is all that matters.
