Man of Action
"When God requires action, sanctity is found in activity."
— Abandonment to Divine Providence
In my own spiritual life, I’ve often felt the tension between stillness and action. There’s a balance to strike—times for contemplation and times for doing.
But this line from Abandonment to Divine Providence cuts through the uncertainty: When it’s time to act, it’s time to act.
There is a season for everything. Our task is to discern what God is asking of us in each moment—and then respond.
When He calls us to move, we don’t hesitate. We act. Because that’s where sanctity is found.
