Momentum is Real
I've written before about my love for baseball. A little while ago, I was watching a Baltimore Orioles game, and they were up by 8 runs in the second inning. This game is in the bag—right?
But in the third inning, something had shifted. You could feel it. The other team came back and won.
Afterward, the Orioles manager said something that stuck with me: "Momentum is real."
Here's the thing about momentum—it works both ways. In baseball and in life.
In our modern world, we bounce from thing to thing without seeing the big picture. We live so in the moment that we miss how our actions are actually building. We don't recognize momentum when it's happening.
But momentum is always happening. Whether it's prayer, relationships, work, or habits—momentum builds. Or momentum dies.
The choice is ours. Small steps each day in the right direction, or small steps away from what matters.
So what momentum are you building right now?
