I’m so pleased that circumstances (and Providence!) have permitted you to put Summons on a firmer basis. Have you ever thought of gathering some of your reflections into a small book? You can go to any Catholic book store and pick up any number of leather-bound, gold-edged books of meditations that don’t hold a candle to your offerings. Unlike most of the daily meditations I receive by e-mail, yours are not based on the Mass Readings of the day. But, for some reason, they always strike a very relevant chord. God bless you!
Hi Bishop, thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate it. And funny enough, recently I have thought about putting together a book.
Obviously there are a lot of old reflections right here. But, I have wondered about trying to write a reflection for the daily Gospel reading. That would essentially be like a daily homily. What do you think of that? Or are you saying that you like that the reflections are not tied to the daily readings?
